Representativeness heuristic is a heuristic in which a new situation is assessed to a previous situation based on generalization or similarities

Representative Heuristic: is a cognitive bias in which an individual categorizes a situation based on a pattern of previous experiences or beliefs about the scenario. It can be useful when trying to make a quick decision but it can also be limiting because it leads to close-mindedness such as in stereotypes.

For ex: when you judge someone without even knowing them by either what they are wearing...the way the talk or by the way they are acting and you judge them in a bad way when maybe they are really humble and nice people. It's called close-minded like mentioned above.
