Brainstorming is a problem solving strategy in which you throw out ideas or thoughts on a certain something without giving the brain time to evaluate them and decide if they are relevant or not. An example is brainstorming on what to make for dinner. You don't allow yourself to think about whether the guest well like the dinner, but just on the different possibilities of a dinner you can make.
Brainstorming is a problem-solving strategy which an individual or a group produces ideas after and evaluates them only have been collected. ex. gathering all your ideas together to define what your essay is based on.

Producing many ideas before you review and evaluate them.
ex. generating different ideas on what to write your essay on.
