Hello!

the desensitization is a behavioral therapy used to deal with phobias. I'll use an example to indicate the process. A person with a phobia towards elevators may begin their desensitization therapy by watching people get in and out the elevator from far away. Then they might move on to sit closer and watch people, then actually go and push the button of the elevator. Then, they might go run in and out of the elevator, and finally try going up or down one floor, then two... until finally they can live with elevators. This process might take months or even a few years.

interesting right?
