The difference between unconditioned response and conditioned response is that, Unconditioned response is unlearned and conditioned is learned.

For example: When someone smells their favorite food (unconditioned stimulus) you then become hungry(unconditioned response)

Usually, the unconditioned response and the conditioned response are slightly different versions or the same response.

A person was conditioned to become hungry when with the smell of food. When he or she was born, that person did not know that that particular food was his/her favorite. This person learned that this particular food was his/her favorite as he/she experienced other foods.
