What is the difference between fixed interval schecdule and variable interval schedule?

the fixed interval is when you have to wait a specific amount of time and the variable interval is not specific.

interval refers to time so fixed interval is when a certain amount of time needs to go by before some thing will happen an example would be a mid term test. Variable interval is that it can happen when ever like pop quizzes

Fixed interval includes time, a specific amount of time. while variable is random timing.
