Superstitous behavior is when you tend to repeat behaviors that are followed closely by a reinforcer, even if they aren't related.

Well my example is wearing a pair a socks again because they are lucky.

Superstitious behavior is closely relating a behavior with a reinforcement although they might not be closely related and repeating that same behavior.

I might have thought my unwashed tshirt was lucky for a couple of games.
