How can you distinguish Gardner's theory from Sternberg's triarchic theory?

Because Gardners theory is composed of multiple abblilities,which are 8 different abilities while Sternbergs theory is only made up of 3 abilities.((:

I agree with Yadira except I would use intelligences instead of abilities, so Gardner's theory consists of 8 different intelligences and Sternberg's theory has only three different type of intelligences which are analytical, creative, and practical.

I defenetly agree with Yadira and Daniel...Gardners theory is made up of multiple intelligences, it consists 8 different types of them, while Sternbergs theory is only made up of 3 intelligences.Making this very easy to remember since there is a big difference between the both theories.
